Opened in September 2000, the new room is bright and modern, with plenty of daytime light from the South-facing windows which look out on the garden. French doors lead outside to the patio and garden. The furniture and fittings are all new.
The room incorporates a new skittle alley but is also comfortably and attractively carpetted and furnished to provide the ideal venue for wedding receptions, parties and business meetings. The room has its own front entrance, bar and toilets (including good disabled access and toilet facilities).
There is parking for up to 30 cars (some double-parked) and facilities available for conferences include overhead projector, flip chart and VTR and monitor. The room size is 19m × 6m and can seat up to 80 people depending on what seating layout is required.
